2012-05-10 18:52:38		 Hi Hakeem,For research I found the book inbuvaalle for understanding how all this technology works. It has a good section on choosing batteries too. It sounds like what you need is a UPS system, and not necessarily a PV array, as if you have a reasonably reliable grid connection you could charge the batteries from that and then have them come online when the grid disappears. A 28kVA is HUGE in PV terms. You'd need to know exactly how much electricity you typically use over a 5 day period before you can size any of the components.
